This is a unique cup made of stoneware clay. There is only one like it. The cup exists somewhere between sculpture and cup - a true art cup. The formal expression is rustic and "uneven", while the glaze is smooth, soft, and even - that's how I love my cups.

A jester moves between play and seriousness. He entertains, but also conceals something. He stands a little outside the normal, where rules are looser, and where one sees the world both from within and without. The jester is both "part of the community" and yet not. There is a distance and mystique about a jester that inspires me and awakens my curiosity.

This is jester cup no. 3.

All jester cups are different, more are continuously added, and there are small imperfections and unique characteristics in each one that attest to its originality.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Measures approximately 8x11 cm

Signed and dated on the bottom.

What is ceramics?

All ceramic pieces are shaped and glazed by hand in my studio. I work with stoneware clay and various glazes, which are fired at high temperatures. During firing, the glaze reacts with the clay, and each piece gets its own unique expression. Small variations in shape and color are a natural part of the process – this is where the magic happens and a unique work emerges.
