This is a unique cup made of stoneware. There is only one like it. The cup exists somewhere between sculpture and cup – a true art cup. The formal expression is rustic and “uneven”, while the glaze is smooth, soft and even – that's how I love my cups.
A jester moves between play and seriousness. He entertains, but also hides something. He stands a little on the edge of the normal, where the rules are looser, and where you see the world both from the inside and the outside. The jester is both "part of the community" and yet not. There is a distance and mystery about a jester that inspires me and arouses my curiosity.
This is jester cup no. 2.
All jester cups are different, more are continuously added, and each has small imperfections and unique characteristics that attest to its originality.

What is ceramics?
All ceramic pieces are shaped and glazed by hand in my studio. I work with stoneware clay and various glazes, which are fired at high temperatures. During firing, the glaze reacts with the clay, and each piece gets its own unique expression. Small variations in shape and color are a natural part of the process – this is where the magic happens and a unique work emerges.
