The Reborn Jesters (2)

The Reborn Jesters is an ongoing series of original works.

Over several years, a collection of more than a hundred works grew in the studio. But they never went anywhere. They were put aside, left half-finished. There was never anything wrong with them, but I couldn't complete them because of the unease I felt inside.

Now I have returned to my studio and see the works with a completely different perspective. It has been like finding hidden treasures that have patiently waited for my attention. I find them one by one and finish them from where they were once interrupted.

The Reborn Jesters is closely linked to my personal story of finding my way, growing, and settling down. Rebirth is a big word, but it's the only one that truly describes how it feels.

This work measures approx. 9x11.5 cm and is made on thick watercolor paper. The work is signed and dated. Mixed media.

The work is sold unframed. I recommend professional framing with art glass, where the work is placed in a much larger frame with a large mat.
