The Reborn Jesters (1)

The Reborn Jesters is an ongoing series of original works.

Over several years, a collection of more than a hundred works grew in the studio. But they never went anywhere. They were put aside and left unfinished. There was never anything wrong with them. But I couldn't finish them because of the unrest I felt inside.

Now I have returned to my studio and see the works with a completely different perspective. It has been like finding hidden treasures that have patiently waited for my attention. I bring them out one by one and complete them from where they were once interrupted.

The Reborn Jesters is closely linked to my personal story of finding my way, growing, and settling down. Rebirth is a big word, but it is the only right one that can describe how it feels.

This work measures approximately 16x25 cm and is made on thick watercolor paper. The work is signed and dated. Mixed media.

The work is sold unframed. I recommend professional framing with art glass or that you buy a larger frame and place the painting in the center on a white backboard. This creates a passe-partout-like edge, which is beautiful for an original work.
