Filuren (The Rascal) was originally a linocut print. He had to be immortalized as an art print when the plate started to give up – and I cannot live without Filuren in my assortment. Or ‘the little ugly one’, as I also call him. He reminds me that all the ugliness I possess is allowed to be there. He makes everything permissible, because he himself is a mysterious, strange one. He is both a little sweet, a little ugly, a little crooked… Perhaps the pure and unfiltered version of being human?

What is an art poster?
I want to turn some original works into art posters, so that more people can enjoy the same artwork. It's a long process where an original work is first photographed, then the file is post-edited, and the art print is test-printed. I also choose the paper type, format, and print run type.
- Open edition art posters have an unlimited print run. Each print is embossed in the paper with my personal stamp as a mark of authenticity. Often comes in several different sizes and colors. They are printed on 210 g quality paper.
- Limited edition art posters have limited print runs - signed and numbered individually by me with a pencil. Each print is part of an exclusive series, and once the run is sold out, the motif is never printed again. The paper quality is at least 230 g and may vary from motif to motif.
