The Reborn Jesters (3) - Homesickness

De genfødte gøglere (The Reborn Jesters) is an ongoing series of original works. This work is subtitled 'homesickness'.

Over several years, a collection of more than a hundred works emerged in the studio. But they never went anywhere. They were set aside and left half-finished. They were never flawed. But I couldn't finish them because of the restlessness I felt inside.

Now I have returned to my studio and see the works with a completely different perspective. It has been like finding hidden treasures that have patiently waited for my attention. I find them one by one and finish them from where they were once interrupted.

De genfødte gøglere is closely linked to my personal story of finding my way, growing, and settling down. Rebirth is a big word, yet it is the only correct one that can describe how it feels.

This work measures approximately 21x30 cm and is made on thick watercolor paper. The work is signed and dated. Mixed media.

The work is sold unframed.
