'Cycle' - a mini-series of reduction prints

Cyklus (Cycle) is a mini-series of original reduction prints.

Looking at the works now, I clearly see what they convey. That life moves in cycles. Like the seasons. Like emotions. What is difficult now will not last forever. And the same goes for what is happy. It is at once incredibly tough but also comforting to realize. Being in touch with this condition of life has pulled me out of the fear of, for example, death.

Each linocut is unique. Reduction printing is in itself an irreversible process. For each layer of color, the plate is cut down and cannot be used again. In this way, the same motif is still different, and there is only one of each.

Printed on thick quality paper specially suited for linocut prints. All with deckled edges.
Signed and numbered. There may be small characteristics of each print such as a spot, crooked edge, etc. This is seen as part of the unique charm of the work.

All prints have different dimensions. They are around 23 cm x 23-30 cm.

I recommend framing them in a larger frame than the artwork's dimensions. In this way, the artwork is "freed," and a kind of 'passepartout' is created. However, it is best to have a piece professionally framed.
